“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
We want everyone to discover life in Jesus!
Jesus made some big claims. His life and his promises have had an enormous impact in history and he still changes lives today. We believe that Jesus is the single most important, powerful and influential person in last 2000 years. Today Jesus promises us a restored relationship with God and a life that is truly life.
Why did Jesus have to die?
At its core, sin is the rejection of God. This rejection brings his judgement.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
But…the whole Bible is about God’s love and mercy. He is ready to save anyone who turns from their sins to the God who made them and loves them.
“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in sin—it is by grace.”
God did this by becoming a human. Jesus is God as a human, who lived a sinless life in order to take God’s judgement upon himself, so that we can be forgiven and set free.
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.”
1 Peter 3:18
This is the greatest news a person can hear. These are Jesus’ words, explaining how we can be made right with God:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Before I knew Jesus, I was searching for something to fill the spiritual hole inside of me. I tried to fill this hole with friends, music, alcohol, drugs and travelling. I looked into Eastern religion and New Age spirituality. It all took me nowhere. But there were small things nudging me to check out the Bible, so I started reading it and over a few years of investigation, studying its history and wrestling with what it all means I ended up in Israel on my knees praying to Jesus. I finally understood the Gospel message – I am a broken person, in a broken world, a rebel in a great rebellion against God. Only Jesus could restore me, only Jesus could turn me back to God. Now that Jesus is my lord I have a sure hope of eternal life because of his death and resurrection on the cross. This is comforting and humbling. But the best part is that the God who created the universe wanted to know me and now I know him. His name is Jesus.” Joel
