This week at church is Father’s Day! We’ll be raising funds for MTS (Ministry Training Strategy) so come and purchase a mug for your dad or for another occasion.
Each mug is just $5 and contains a hot chocolate sachet, assorted chocolates and a thank you note from MTS. What a bargain!! Of course, you’re welcome to make a donation to MTS at the same time.

MTS (Ministry Training Strategy) at The Lakes
We’re committed to Christ’s work beyond us and into the future and want to raise up capable and godly leaders for tomorrow’s churches. Our partnership with MTS is part of this commitment. As a church, we receive the blessing of their ministry amongst us, especially the energy they bring to our work with children, youth and young adults. We’ll start advertising and interviewing for new MTS trainees during September.
