No king wants to be a servant, they want to be served. In the same way, no president takes a bullet for someone else, bodyguards take bullets for the president. In a beautiful twist to the expected plot-line, Jesus is a servant king. There really is more to Easter than chocolate eggs and a day off work… come and hear the surprising story of a servant king who shows his love and power not by how many people serve him, but by how many he serves.

You’re invited to our Grand Opening celebration and open day!

At The Lakes, we’ve been building community on the Central Coast for 18 years. We used to meet at Berkeley Vale High School but now have our own place at Tuggerah Business Park. You may have seen our building go up last year and wondered what goes on here each week.

We invite you to come and see for yourself! Please join us for our Grand Opening celebration and open day… a family-friendly event where you can check out our ministry centre, meet our team and learn more about our vibrant church community. Rhema FM will be broadcasting live from the event, there’ll be a free BBQ lunch, a jumping castle, activities for kids and our cafe will be open for barista coffees and other refreshments.

Program:

8.30am – Church service

10.30am – Church service

12pm – Free BBQ lunch, Rhema FM, jumping castle, kids activities, info stalls

1.00pm – Official opening & cake cutting

5.00pm – Church service

6.30pm – Free dinner, info stalls & games on the grass

Families Equip Course

Parenting Tools for all Seasons – A five-week course

Parenting is a gift but it can be challenging, confusing, chaotic & confidence-crushing… We’d love you to join us for this five-week course based on the Mothers Union course Families Equip: Parenting Tools for all Seasons. You will gain tools, information and an opportunity to reflect and consider together what might work for you as you parent your particular child or children. This is a chance to reflect, regroup and reboot… Invite a friend, family member or neighbour to come along… everyone is welcome.

Our leaders have completed training to run this course. The cost of $30 is per family (concession available).     Connect Series online

    Connect is a six-week series examining God’s big plans for our lives, our church and our world. We don’t usually get in our cars and drive somewhere without first knowing where we’re going, but when it comes to living our lives, we often bumble through without real answers to life’s most important questions.

    What is God’s purpose for my life? How do I live as a Christian? God’s Word provides the answers to these questions. In this course we investigate together how to live the lives God intends for us individually and as a church.

    This series is free and runs for six weeks starting 7.15pm Tuesday 5 October on Zoom. For registration or enquiries please fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch with you soon.

        Come along to a live show at The Art House, Wyong. We’re going to watch Senior Moments 2, a 90 minute classic comedy revue for slightly ‘old’ people… come on, that’s you isn’t it?!
