Senior Youth Camp 2023

Our Senior Youth camp is an amazing time for years 10-12 high school students to get away from the bustle and stresses of life to a beautiful campsite in Dungog. We’ll hear deep and challenging talks about being a radical disciple for Jesus; look deep into the Bible and what it says about treasuring Jesus above everything else; learn what it means to live a life of obedience even when we don’t understand what is going on in the broken world around us; connect with each other and fix our eyes on Jesus as we eat great food under the stars and enjoy God’s good creation.

2023 EQUIP Women’s Conference via livestream

We’d love you to join us at our Ministry Centre to watch EQUIP23 Women’s Conference via livestream together. EQUIP23 is a great opportunity to hear encouraging talks on the Book of Haggai and enjoy time together with sisters-in-Christ over morning tea and lunch. We look forward to seeing you there!

Note: If you can’t join us at the Ministry Centre but would like to watch the talks another time you can register yourself on the EQUIP Women website for $22. Videos will be available to watch for four weeks from 17 June.

Praise and Worship night

“Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!” Psalm 47:6

Every moment of every day we are “worshipping” something. Our Praise and Worship night is an opportunity to stop and realign our affections on a God that is worthy of our praise. Let’s gather together and encourage one another in God’s word, song and prayer. Everyone is welcome!

Street Food & Culture Night 2023

Join us for our Street Food & Culture night!

Authentic street food | Live music | Stories from around the world | Fun for kids | Traditional dancing | craft stalls | Cafe open | Invite your friends and neighbours | RSVP to help us with catering!

$10 Entry fee (per adult) includes $10 value coupons for food & bottled water/soft drinks. More coupons can be purchased on the night. Barista coffees, teas and milkshakes can be purchased from our cafe.

Women’s Retreat 2023

The Women’s Retreat is a two-day event at Bethshan Conference Centre. Join us for a beautiful getaway of fellowship, encouragement and fun with sisters-in-Christ of all ages. This year our guest speaker is Lesley Ramsay.

The weekend kicks off from 7pm Friday for supper and finishes after lunch on Sunday. The cost varies according to attendance, ranging from $60-$180 (see RSVP form for details). Click the RSVP button by 1 March to let us know you’re coming!

Note: Girls in Year 10 or older are welcome to join us.

    Our Chinese community at The Lakes loves to celebrate the annual Lunar New Year Festival. Bring along your Chinese friends and family of all ages to this free event with fun games, crafts, a short Bible talk and yummy Chinese food. We look forward to seeing you there!

      Men’s & Women’s Breakfast 2023

      We’d love you to join us for a hearty BBQ breakfast hosted by our Men’s Ministry! Jim & Lesley Ramsey will share tons of wisdom on the journey through life’s many transitions. All are welcome, men and women. This will be a great event to invite a friend to. 

      Cost: $7.50 for mega brekkie burger & bottled water. Our cafe will be open for barista coffees and other beverages.
